| This meet was going to be quite a test for the hounds, as new Quarries Nick Ross and Freddie Green had quite a bit of newly sown ground to run over, and this type of ground carries little scent. There were 12 1/2 couples of hounds, including 5 couples of puppies. Our new Quarries ran perfect hunts giving the hounds great lines to work out and the riders a good ride over Mr Mitham's farm on the beautiful Rotherfield Estate. |
