| Nick Hoare and Freddie Green were our Quarries on this beautiful sunny day with amazing autumn colours. Once again there was a good turnout of riders and foot followers in the delightful setting of Mark and Robert Stents farm. Four hunts had been arranged and hounds hunted well on various surfaces - stubble, bare ground, new crops and grass. This was not only a day of great riding but great viewing of hound work as well. The Quarries gave the Master a bit of a shock by putting in an extra unexpected loop in one of the hunts, but the hounds were trusted and the hunt finished without any interference or help. |
