South Downs Bloodhounds Move Into New Home
At last after many months of searching, Master of the South Downs Bloodhounds, Jeremy Whaley, has found a suitable home for the South Downs Bloodhounds. "I cannot believe my good fortune in finding such a fantastic place in which to keep the hounds. Not only have the kennels got all the facilities I need, but Mrs Ann Brewer, is proving to be a tremendously kind and helpful landlady. I would also like to thank Mike and Fran Baker who were so helpful with my search for suitable premises and instrumental in my success. This is only a very small beginning, I now have to hope we can attract people to join us in providing a sport that will provide not only equestrian thrills, but also an appreciation of hound work." To understand why Jeremy is forming this new pack in the south of England having spent two years setting up a successful similar operation in Scotland, follow this link.

Jeremy went on to say. "There is so much more to do, renovating the kennels and most importantly contacting land owners and farmers to find those who will permit us access to their land for our sport. One should never underestimate the enormous generosity of farmers and land owners who permit access to their land for sport. I have been very fortunate in the past, in enjoying the hospitality of farmers and landowners for the last ten years in Scotland, and previously with my time as a Master in West Sussex. I am very much looking forward to working with old friends in Hampshire and West Sussex. I invite anyone wishing to become involved with this hunt in any way to contact me either on 07817 974460 or by email Jeremy@SouthDownsBloodhounds.com "
